SOL - Solar Energy for Multi-Family Buildings in Lithuania.
The project kicked off in September 2018 and strives to contribute to increasing the use of renewable energies in buildings in Lithuania. To start with, a detailed analysis of the potential to use solar energy is carried out. At the same time, the project takes measures to bring together and engage all major stakeholders in the field of renewable energies in Lithuania on a longterm basis. more: SOL - Solar Energy for Multi-Family Buildings in Lithuania.
Training of Managers for Urban Redevelopment in Lithuania.
Supported by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI), the project will be implemented jointly by IWO and its Lithuanian partner BETA between October 2017 and February 2020. Actions aim at developing, implementing and establishing a vocational training of Managers for Urban Redevelopment in Lithuania. The project relates directly to the focus on integrated approaches in urban (re)development recently settled by the Lithuanian government. more: Training of Managers for Urban Redevelopment in Lithuania.
Pro House - Professional Housing Management in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
In order to strengthen and modernise structures of housing management in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to start with and provide for more energy efficiency in buildings, IWO initiated the PRO HOUSE project on Professional Housing Management in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in December 2016. more: Pro House - Professional Housing Management in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
German-Ukrainian Efficient House Pilot Project.
Partnering with the German Energy Agency (dena) and participants of the "Energy Efficiency Initiative Ukraine", IWO e.V. has been working on increasing energy efficiency in Ukrainian multi-family buildings and preparing the fundamental basis for a national support program to help deliver required refurbishments of housing since 2016. more: German-Ukrainian Efficient House Pilot Project.
COMMA - Communication and Management for citizen participation in local government in Belarus".
In June 2015 the three-year EU project launched under the auspices of the IWO and the municipality Jelgava (Latvia). EU4Armenia - Community Mobilization for Energy Efficiency in Armenia.
IWO partners with the Armenian ASBA Foundation and partners from the Netherlands and Czech Republic in this project which aims at increasing public participation and thus empowering the citizens in five Armenian rural regions particularly regarding decision-making processes related to energy poverty issues and energy efficiency. more: EU4Armenia - Community Mobilization for Energy Efficiency in Armenia.
