PROMHOUSE project
The webinar "Hausmeister" (in EN: janitor) took place on 2-4 February during 24 seminar units and included the following topics: Janitor in Germany; Traffic safety obligation; structural and technical damage; Importance of communication for the caretaker; Introduction of the job of janitor based on German know-how in Belarus.
The aim of the webinar was to familiarize responsible employees of housing management companies and apartment owners' associations with the job of janitor in order to be able to introduce janitor services to improve building management in companies. At the same time, the webinar included knowledge about the qualification of technical employees of service companies.
Around 200 participants from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were actively participating and were interested in topics, therefore confirmed the need of exchange of experiences between the partner countries of the PROMHOUSE project. The increased demand for janitor services in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan can be explained by the intensive development of the housing management market. This, in turn, necessitates the revision of the relevant laws adopted in 2019.
The webinar took place in hybrid format - online for the Kazakh and German participants and as a face-to-face event for the Uzbek participants.
The Uzbek project partner "Association of Companies of Professional Administrators and Service Providers for Housing Stock" brought together participants from nine regions in the capital Tashkent. The representatives of the project partner were able to discuss the main directions of the reform of the housing management with the participants in a personal conversation and present the results achieved by PROMHOUSE in 2020. The event was attended by the Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sheersod Khidojatov, and the Deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Nosir Aminov.
The invitation from the Kazakh partners was accepted by representatives from ten regions. The training was attended by the board of directors of the associations of apartment owners' associations and the associations of owners of residential and commercial premises, as well as technical staff. The training was also followed by teachers from the Kostanaj Building College and the Kazakh Leading Architecture and Building Academy.
The speakers were Christian Thomas, trainer and coach at the EBZ-Akademie, Bochum; Gennadij Kaljonow, Managing Director of the International Association for Real Estate Management, Minsk; Larissa Schreckenbach, project manager of the Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO e. V.), Berlin; Djamschid Sakirov, expert of the Association of the organizations of professionally managing and serving housing funds, Tashkent.
