VITAL – Training for housing managers in Lviv

VITAL was dedicated to the topic of professional housing management in the Lviv region of Ukraine. The project started in June 2019 and was funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. VITAL provided young people and internally displaced persons from the Ukraine with specialist knowledge on building management and a career perspective. Jointly with the NGO “Research Centre for Local Self-Government” in Lviv and in cooperation with the European Training Centre for the Housing and Real Estate Industry (EBZ) in Germany, IWO implemented the project until the end of February 2020. The activities also strengthened ties and networking between German and Ukrainian NGOs. Measures included a study tour of further education participants from Lviv to Bochum, the development of a basic curriculum (72 hours) for residential building managers and four seminars in the Ukraine.
