EuroFest2024 - On the occasion of Europe Day

EuroFest2024 gives the opportunity to celebrate unity, diversity and friendship among European countries and to learn about various EU-funded projects, highlighting their positive impact and contribution to Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The event strives to be a day of fun, learning, and cultural exchange for residents and visitors of the Kazakh capital Astana.
During the festival, the “ENABLE – Empowered Civil Society for a Sustainable and Energy Efficient City” project funded by the EU and coordinated by IWO e. V., will be presented. The event in Astana will be attended by the implementing partners from the Kazakhstan Parliamentary Development Fund (KPDF) and they will present exhibitions on the following topics: “Prospects of large residential areas – Experiences from Germany” and “Thermal modernisation of the housing stock: Experience in Kazakhstan”. They are being organised as part of the project.
