EuroFest2024 in honor of Europe Day
On 1 June 2024, the Fund for the Development of Parliamentarism in Kazakhstan took part in the event EuroFest – 2024 organised by the European Union at the occasion of Europe Day. During the event, various EU-funded projects were presented.
The partners from Astana presented the goals and objectives of the project “ENABLE – Empowered Civil Society for Sustainable and Energy Efficient City”. In addition, they spread the word among interested visitors about the exhibitions: “Prospects of large residential areas – Experiences from Germany”, prepared by the Competence Center for Large Housing Estates e.V., Berlin, and “Thermal Modernisation of Housing: Experience in Kazakhstan” provided by the Kazakhstan Green Building Council (KazGBC). Both exhibitions are being organised and showcased as part of the project.
The ENABLE project is implemented by the Kazakhstan Parliamentary Development Fund (KPDF), Astana, in cooperation with the Almaty City Association of Apartment Owners’ Cooperatives (ALMATY ASSOCIATION), Petropavlovsk Regional Association of Consumer Cooperatives of Apartment Owners (PETROPAVLOVSK ASSOCIATION) and the Housing Initiative for Eastern Europe (IWO e. V.), Berlin.
