Announcement: Launch conference for the EU project “ENABLE – Civil society for a sustainable and energy-efficient city”
Perspectives for sustainable development of large residential areas – planning, energy modernisation and energy efficiency
On the 9th of April 2024, the opening of the EU project “ENABLE – Civil Society for a Sustainable and Energy Efficient City” will take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event will be held at the Almaty State College of Energy and Electronic Technologies Zhandosov Street 65 in a hybrid format. The conference will include an exhibition on the modernisation of large residential areas in Germany.
Goals and objectives of the conference:
- Presentation of the goals, objectives, activities of the ENABLE project and the action plan for 2024
- Presentation of participants with the experience of Germany – planning, modernisation of large residential areas
- Opening and presentation of an exhibition on the prospects for the development of large residential areas
- Discussion of opportunities for civil society participation in the development of sustainable housing, energy-saving modernisation of the housing stock
