"IVIM-Onlinesalon"

Since 2010, the International Association for Real Estate Management (IVIM) has been working for the development of professional real estate management in transition countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, with a focus on Belarus. The Housing Initiative Eastern Europe (IWO) e.V. is a member of IVIM and supports the association through cooperation in joint projects.

For the purpose of exchanging know-how, disseminating expert knowledge and strengthening political influence, IVIM members agreed to hold a series of events online under the title "Online Salon" on current topics in 2021 as a new communication model under pandemic conditions.

Thus, IVIM and IWO e.V. held the first online salon on 17th February 2021, on the topic "Organizing the owners' meeting with the help of digital communication." Speakers were experts from the Institute of Housing Economics of the Academy of Sciences, the IT Company "Bright Solutions", the Private Institute of Administration and Entrepreneurship from Belarus, the Association of Property Managers Germany e. V., the Association of Apartment Owners Associations of Estonia, the Association of Managers of Latvia, the Regional Center for Public Control of the Housing Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan from the Russian Federation, the Association for Digital Construction of Ukraine. There were also participants from Managing Boards of Administrator’s associations from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

In total, about 70 experts from eight countries took part in the event.
