New learning and exchange format for property managers

Exchange of experience among property managers at the HOA network meetings in March
In the H2020 project GREEN Home, property managers from the regions of Berlin-Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg and North Rhine-Westphalia had the opportunity to learn about topics related to energy-efficient building refurbishment, but also about funding opportunities for energy efficiency measures, and to exchange their own experiences in building refurbishment with each other.
The GREEN Home project focuses on the development of financing models for energy efficiency measures in HOAs. During the roundtables in autumn 2022, the consortium found out that there is a need for more knowledge about the technical details of such measures as well as knowledge of national and regional funding opportunities among the property managers. Furthermore, the exchange among each other is an important part. Many houses and renovation projects are so individual in detail that they need their own creative approaches to implementation. So, it is good to talk to each other, to learn from each other and to look at good practice examples that have already been implemented.
At the first HOA network meetings, speakers such as energy consultants, property managers and representatives from municipalities told about their experiences and the services and funding programmes offered. Afterwards, all participants had the opportunity to talk to each other, to discuss with each other, to exchange information about their own projects, but also to ask the experts questions.
The very positive feedback makes us look forward to further HOA network meetings. The project consortium is still looking for partners to support maintain the dialogue and thus increase the renovation rate in HOA. If you are interested, please contact Franziska Reute (reute@iwoev.org).
